Covid-19: What will be in place in terms of health and safety protocols?
We have heightened our health and safety protocols in order to maximise your safety and deliver our high quality of care.
Your Osteopaths will be wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) at all times inside of the treatment room, which includes:
- single use gloves;
- single use apron;
- a face mask.
Apart from wearing PPE, we will carry out sanitization in between each client, which will include but not limit to cleaning of doors handles, coat hangers, chairs and table, computer, plinth and pillow covers. The room will also be aired in between clients.
You will be given a face-mask and hand sanitizer when you enter the premises and washroom facilities are available inside the building.
We kindly ask that you attend your appointments alone, except appointments made for children and for those with disabilities that need assistance; we also ask that you arrive at the time of your appointment and not ahead. Our waiting area will be closed and your therapist will instead meet you at the door of Enterprise House at your allocated appointment time. If you develop symptoms in the 7 days prior to your appointment, we ask that you please let us know and postpone your appointment.
If you develop symptoms in the 7 days following your appointment, we ask that you please let us know so that we can alert your therapist.
Who cannot attend?
At this time, if you or anyone in your household falls into one of the “high-risk” categories and have been instructed to self-isolate for 12 weeks we won’t be able to offer you a face-to-face consultation at our premises. You can access our support instead via phone consultation or email.
What if I don’t want to attend a face-to-face consultation but still need advice?
I want to make an appointment but I am unsure if I fall into the correct categories or I feel a bit anxious about attending.

I have made an appointment, now what?
Approximately 24hrs before your appointment, you will be contacted by one of our team in order to ask you a few simple screening questions. We ask that if your situation changes between the screening time and the appointment time you let us know please. At this time, we would encourage you to pay online at http://www.kneadtorelax.co.uk/index.php/onlineshop. If you need any guidance with the payment process, give us a call and we’ll be happy to walk you through the process. Alternatively, bank details can be provided at the time of the appointment for a BACS transfer.
